Prior to his time at Invest Ontario, Mr. Fedchyshyn held senior leadership positions at Infrastructure Ontario where he led the creation of the Transit Oriented Communities program and other priority initiatives.

Prior to joining the public sector, Mr. Fedchyshyn’s career spanned private equity, renewable energy development, project finance, and management consulting. He holds a doctorate in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto.

“Michael has an impressive track record of supporting infrastructure development and project finance in both the public and private sectors,” said Brian Porter, Chair of the Board. “His expertise will be a tremendous asset as the Building Ontario Fund moves quickly to begin financing critical infrastructure across the province. Moreover, Michael’s commitment to fostering collaborative and inclusive teams will be instrumental in successfully moving the organization forward.
